The Client 

Everpool Recruitment is an industry-leading recruitment consultancy, based in Liverpool, and they first contacted ICT Solutions in 2021 when the company was initially created. 

The company was in a unique position when they first got in touch with us; as the business was brand new, we were able to create a bespoke, tailored IT support system that was designed for them, from the get-go. 

Rather than having to spend time correcting previous supplier’s mistakes such as buying subscriptions from the wrong company or rolling back any errors that had been made, we were able to start fresh and ensure the correct structure was in place from the outset. 

Due to this, ICT Solutions were able to quickly form a partnership with the Everpool management team, through presentations and recommendations on the setup and structure of their IT and cyber security needs, and support them in their eventual growth.

The Project

The projects that we completed with the team at Everpool consisted of three distinct phases: 

Project 1 – Formation

ICT Solutions set up the leased line, firewalls, switches, wi-fi access points and all aspects of the Microsoft suite including Microsoft 365 Standard, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams Voice. 

Project 2 – Office Fit Out #1

With the team now at 20 staff, ICT Solutions began the fit out of Everpool’s first office including 45 Cat6A Data Points and floor boxes. 

Project 3 – Office Fit Out #2 

The Everpool team had expanded to 37 staff and needed to move to new, larger offices. ICT Solutions replicated much of the initial set up including the leased line, firewalls, switches, and wi-fi access points. We built the fibre backbone from the building’s basement to the new office location, including 110 Cat6A Data Points, fully certified electric fitout and floor boxes. We also fitted out two meeting rooms with 75 inch displays and Yealink Video Conferencing. 

Project 3 – Cyber Security

As part of the third phase of the project, ICT Solutions facilitated the implementation of Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Bitdefender ATP and EDR. 

The Business Premium features that were implemented included:

• Online Email Archive (1.5TB Archive for compliance purposes etc)
• Microsoft Intune (Conditional Access Policies to go along MFA, MDM, MAM Devices Management)
• Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (Spam, Safe Attachments, Safe Links) and advanced phishing protection
• Microsoft Azure Information Protection (sensitivity labels, data loss prevention and encryption)
• Azure AD P1
• Azure Virtual Desktop (Cloud Desktop)
